Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

A lot of motors will automatically put on recirc with aircon and full demist, but it will struggle with a lot of moisture , and if temps are low the aircon will do nothing so people are running full demist and it makes things worse..

Sometimes I've pulled out pollen filters that are soaking wet too, what that can do doesn't bear thinking about..

Are Duracell car batteries any good?

I don't need one but I keep hearing them advertised on the radio lately & the normal batteries they make are decent. The fact they are being sold in Wilko makes me doubt the quality though.

Sound like a nice bunch of lads.

Edit.
They're yank and have the biggest single plant lead acid manufacturing plant. They probably know what they're doing.

They're made by Austrian outfit Banner in Europe though.

Is that a recent development, Barry? I have them on all my vehicles and have done for several years, the youngest one is at least five years old. Never had a failure....

Bollocks. I shouldn't have said that, should I?
