Re: What did you do today?
Rochdale for instance (DK) and Oldham (BU) were never troubled with shortages of registrations, one because they were relatively small licensing authorities but more likely that fewer people could afford new cars in these areas. It is very rare to see an old car with a DK mark now.

Rochdale were one of those authorities who issued seperate blocks for motorcycles. My source shows 250ADK being the last issue for two-wheelers, be nice if that went on a Norton Jubilee or BSA C15!
Fascinating stuff, the numbers game.

Failed mot today. All brake pipes corroded and an advisory for play in the steering rack.paulplom wrote: ↑Mon Mar 01, 2021 1:13 pm I've bought it. He's going to mot it and valet it then give me a shout. It drove perfect on the test drive four up. I was surprised it pulled so well considering. It's lovely and clean with no real dents or marks.
I didn't even haggle the price although he did knock a couple of hundred off for me.

Could be worse I suppose but depends how easy/costly it is to repair.

I think his local garage fails everything on rotten brake pipes.LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Thu Mar 04, 2021 3:32 pmI must haves missed or more likely dementerised that post.
