Halfords also sell Crosland stuff. I doubt it's that bad tbh. Mann are very good though.fried onions wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 2:34 pm Crosland filters not what they used to be eh? Like when Wix were made by Crompton Parkinson. The good old days.

That's true it's no 806 but in 8 years this is the first big job it has needed. I have let her borrow my 806 so I will have to get this done quickly or she will want to keep mine if she has it more than a couple of days

...there an echo in here.
The solution to the obvious issue of loaning that arises is of course that you should have a pair of 806s.

Re: What did you do today?
Posted from my phone which for some daft reason decided to post it twice. I wish I could talk her into an old 806 but she likes the remote opening rear doors. As she is a childminder she needs the 7 proper seats and the kids love the "magic" doorsEddie Honda wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 7:40 pm ...there an echo in here.

Re: What did you do today?
It didn't post it twice entire on its own. What happens is that it doesn't look like it has posted in the normal manner, so you press the submit button a second time and it does a double post that it shouldn't do. Done it myself and go back to delete the extra one, becauae the workshy glassback won't bother with the thankless task.
Anyway, interesting to see those nonsense clutches because I've got to do one when I can be bothered.

Re: What did you do today?
This place has occasionally posted twice for me, it seems to happen when there is a very crap connection on my phone.
I've gone power mad & tided the double post anyway.

Re: What did you do today?
Took the camper out for a run before the gales hit as it's got all the cross wind stability of an empty crisp packet. With it being half term the roads will also soon be chocka with Chelsea tractors as Tarquin and Cressida spend a week by the sea.

Re: What did you do today?
I did briefly think about swapping the Merc with the camper up the barn yesterday (it leaks slightly less than the 190E does at the moment) but I did remember that the termites are all off school so gave it a miss. Also the Merc is booked for MOT on Monday and if I miss that its going to involve making new test bookings just to get it to the barn and back (it is in another county!). Shame, I could do with a wild and windy beach day......
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Easy now Billeh.
(Just for clarity, I've thanked the post above and not the task)
