The old man's 350z does similar when the battery goes flat. Try disconnecting the battery again, reconnect and lock it with the plipper then try it.

It has lost the plot, won't jump off the designed post for flat batteries to open, can't find the cable everyone else can and to top it off, it just spent 15 minutes trying to close the fuel flap lock, constantly.
All from a fucking flat battery!
