I literally wrestled with the neighbours V50 door card to get the twatting thing off earlier. The door clips are stronger than the removal tools I've got. I managed to get if off bar one clip that snapped the whole mounting point off the card FFS

All back on and replacement mirror working and the rest of the clips are so fucking tight I'm fairly confident it won't rattle.

Whole door card off to remove one bolt on a mirror, genius* idea.

Rode home on my 125 last night and noticed one of the heated grips not working. Stripped all down and tested and found a break in the wire result!!!
Went to take bike out about an hour ago, no start. I think I may have pinched the fuel pipe putting the tank back on. Ballz.

Heated grips on a 125??

Last time I saw that, it'd do 10miles & stop as they used more electric than the bike produced & it went flat while ridden.

Had a near heart attack.

I had a call from the garage about the MGB, they want the new hoodframe so that they can weld in some replacement brackets to attach it to. They've also fitted the replacement steering wheel, the original disappeared at some stage along with a big box of bits.

I think that the guy who owns it has got pissed off with it taking up space he could use for his classics, he's got a London to Brighton eligible one for example.

It'll be interesting to see if this is as false dawn or whether I'll actually get it back before summer is over. To be fair to them the guy running it hasn't taken a days holiday in the last year and a bit and his staff also have a big holiday backlog. It's been pretty shit for them, especially with the precautions that they have to take, so I'll leave it for another three or four months before I chase them up again.

The van that keeps on giving is putting the error code up for air mass being out of range on a cold start. I've stripped the sensor out this afternoon and gave it a blast of air duster. I'll see what it's like in the morning before giving it some more money.
This sensor couldn't be the reason my engine fucked could it? Making it over fuel?

Don't do this. Unless you want a new MAF as the hot wire is contaminated.

It's had the latest everything. He spent £3k on a new machine to do it.
I was going to use brake cleaner but it must be down the lock up so I just used an air duster.
