Re: What did you do today?
After the Civic's incontinence issues I've been doing a lot of car things this week, the mother is on holiday so my dad and I are having a field day. Discussing engine swaps and how hard it is to find things on eBay, I open eBay and immediately find an ideal engine to swap in. Local, cheap, decent power, easy swap, &c...
looks like it's project time.
I've also added a front splitter that looks nice (Golf mk3 GTi, direct fit), and I got a nicer Momo steering wheel that isn't out of an MX5, and cost £20 on eBay cause it was badly listed. Looks like it should polish up nicely and seems to be a bit less worn. Date stamped 7/91 so still period too!

Re: What did you do today?
Here's the Civic in its current guise. Took advantage of the bank holiday emptiness and the fact I was seeing a girl in town today to get this otherwise difficult snap in central Manchester, with the Refuge Assurance building in the background (Life on Mars used a similar angle at one point taken from an alley off Princess Street behind Asia House deep in this image's foreground on the other side of the railway, with the period incorrect Palace Hotel's neon sign blazing; since replaced).
As you can see the Golf GTi mk3 splitter fits perfectly and compliments the car well.
