Re: What did you do today?
Been given this by one of Mrs SiC friends. He bought an upright one, leaving this one surplus and in his way.

Think I might put it out the back of the garage and build a little house for it.

Powered it up and turns out it's noiser than I expected. So maybe it will have to live in the garage. At least for now, until I can built a sound proof house for it. It's also missing the dipstick on the pump, so no real idea on how much oil should be in it.

Re: What did you do today?
Put one of those knackered room stats to use last week. It's sunny, I've been out with the dog and saw a young chap in a mk1 megane cabby.
I'm very tempted to go and get the mazza.

Do it. Only reason I haven't pulled the Boxster out is that it's on SORN and I'm not paying for a months tax for a week.

I haven’t done it as yet but I’m hoping to hear back from a chap today about going to view a ‘72 Beetle this afternoon.

Van's on SORN, Cowley has its MOT booked this week (yeah, yeah don't need one. Etc.) but I did take the Minor on a good long Forest run this morning as I am so sick of being in a Ford Focus when we need any essentials*

Re: What did you do today?
Had a clear out in the garage today to put the compressor, that Mrs SiC friend gave me, somewhere sensible. Also gave me a chance to clear this area up that was slowly being stacked with clutter.
Clutter like this, that I should really throw away. Run out of places I can fix this together onto.
Ran compressor up and it did compression things. Actually noiser than I expected. I don't think it's that much quieter than my direct drive unit really.
Gave my nibbler a run too. Previously I got about 30 seconds before my small compressor ran out of puff - literally.
While I was clearing out, I thought I'd give the mower a startup
Re-fitted the battery but lost the retaining bar. So in naturally used the bodgers choice of zip ties
Made another rubbish cold start video

Which left a mess on the lawn. No doubt I will get told off about tomorrow when Mrs SiC looks out the window in the morning.
