Lovely Fifties austerity. I'd be at home in there.

On the contrary, Drum, I think that little Stanny is exactly what you need. Why else did you build an extension?

Drove the car! Woop - Woop, no messages or warnings, nuffin' But, it sounds louder... Strangely, so does the TV (now set on 20% rather than 35 - 40%) and all down to the simple fact that after nearly a full year, the infection in my left ear (Chester's is in his right lug-ole) is finally fucking off! Not gone completely yet but getting there. Great fun laying in bed (sofa) at night squeezing the side of your ear to get gunge and shit out! The doctor is still not talking to me...

Done some DIY or bodgery more like. Ripped the 25 year old kitchen out my old flat. No being the type to throw much out I repurposed some of it into me shed.
The use of a ratchet strap, Rover 75 jack and a random wine cooler to support things likely explains why Drum has never asked for a hand building his hoose

Re: What did you do today?
My mobile mechanic changed glow plugs on the van. He turned up at my house and worked outdoors on the van wearing a t shirt and shorts. I shit you not. We have had a fair bit of snow today and it's been really cold last few days ( how else did I know about glowplugs?!) I was shivering in a coat and it cant have been much warmer than 2 or 3 degrees. Off to scrapyard for a headlight in the morning with him. Odds on he will be in shorts and t shirt too
