The great clear out continues.
The bloke with no teeth and a finger missing who came to look at the transit last week wants my Renault 5.
It has sat for a couple of years at least and wasn't entirely confident it would start, so it was left that I would have a look at it and get back to him.
Battery isn't holding much charge so needs the old Lucas booster.
There was spark at the plugs but not so much as a cough until I poured a wee ticky petrol in the carb and it fired up straight away and seems to be running fine.
Haven't tried moving it yet as there's piles of shite to shift first.
I said £500 but maybe ripping myself off as it's very tidy

Re: What did you do today?
That sounds cheap to me but then again I've no idea of the prices they go for.
Are you having a clearout so that you can open your castle to visitors?

Re: What did you do today?
The wee Renault has been extricated from its resting place and seems to be driving fine. Everything seems to be working except the Blaupunkt cassette player. I'll take it for a longer drive tomorrow and see if it doesn't boil up.
Might pop some new wiper blades on it and stick it in for an MOT.
