It won't be fantastic, I've never sprayed topcoat before and the van is going to painted outside.

It'll be fine. Take your time and make sure the prep is spot on.
I did parts of my bini cooper s outside. One part was perfect and you couldn't tell where it was blended in. he bonnet I did was okay but I didn't use enough colour and it was a bit patchy. The blazing sunshine stopped me from seeing where I had painted and I didn't want to over do it.

Today I painted the garage floor, weighed in five old batteries for 50 quid and sent some photos of some BBS wheels to some arse who asked ‘how much’ when it states £800 in the advert and then says they are‘too expensive’. Fuck off.

I sometimes wonder how some of these idiots get through life.
Are they actually allowed outside into the real world, because they'd end up pretty battered and bruised if they were?

Theres a wee dent by the "P" in the script decal, but I think the bumper took the brunt of it.
I'm not mega worried about the damage it's just the FUCKING HASSLE of insurance I can't be fucked with.

I thought it looked a bit deflected there......With you on the hassle aspect, I hate dealing with that as well - especially if you can't nominate the repairer.
