It's a big plus point for this car, that's for sure. New sound deadening and a decent set of carpets will finish it off well, when the time comes.

Looks a lovely place to be in there.

Seems this has outlived the Talbot that towed it too.

That Avenger has been off the road almost as long as I've been alive, the Hampshire came off the road four years before I was born!

This will blow your mind...
Angrydick would have been around 3yrs old when Windows 95 came out and wouldn't have even remembered it. Also of an age where he's only ever known a time where the internet has existed!

My flabber is indeed gasted.

Explains why he's got the energy for such projects and gives hope these old things will live on for decades more too.

Wonderful pictures, I am sure you will soon be at your wits end with it *cough *, I mean glad you bought it having completed an easy restoration.
You will get plenty of carping on here *cough cough * I mean supportive and knowledgeable advice from the senior members.

As I suspected I was right about everything.

It's probably rotted out where mice/rats have got in. Their piss is acidic, so damages paint and causes rust. Especially when soaked into carpets.
