Every now and again I see something I just can't identify. Thought I start a thread so the hive mind of AS can help work out what these mystery vehicles are.
It was on ebay back in Jan 2015, it was bidded up to a whopping £3100, but if those tranny pics are recent, the deal was never seen through as it is still sitting there (same vendor).

I like it, its just like a Type 2 VW in a fairground mirror. I find the 1966 bollocks on the Transit more offensive to be honest, mainly because it's on a Mk2
The Transit appears to be an imprecise replica of the minibus in The Italian Job.
I would not be surprised if was done to demonstrate that the owner was on their way to Le Mans as part of some baffling PH cringefest.
As posted on a photo thread, this portacabin on wheels is the Birkie Beast made by a friend of my dad's in the 80s for transporting guns up Scottish hills. Deutz diesel driving a pump for 8 hydraulic motors.
It looks fine to me, it's fit for purpose, whereas the ID based 'thing' just looks crap, like someone's sliced a van horizontally and inserted an additional section.
