Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Behaving fine. Only had to switch fan on once in traffic and a couple of times up steep hills. One mishap today though was the coil wire came off again. It happens on occasion. I've nipped the connector up but it still comes adrift.

Tie the wires up near the coil. It'll be the weight of the wires swinging on it that pulls the connector off.

“Oh you are awful” etc.
I bought that issue when it came out. I had a pissy little Suzuki Sportsman and remember thinking what a total cunt Emery looked. The majority of riders then had more chance of a backscuttle with Susan George than owning a Honda 4.
By the time I got to ride a (borrowed) 750 it had lost its looks with the factory 4 into one but still had a stainless front disc which was abominable in the wet. With 4's still too expensive, I bought a Suzuki Savage (500 stroker) which handled and stopped reliably on drums but on one ride back from Cologne achieved 23 mpg at a constant 75. Today's riders would be shocked at exactly how awful bikes, and comedians, used to be.

They are tied up,it's just 1 of the positive wires. It's always bloody done it. Need to put a new spade on it ideally.

Japanese bikes improved since, British comedians not.

Total electric failure. Lots of smoke from various parts. Buzzing noise from all fuses and relays. Oh joy.

Indeed. It beggars belief that, in light of this, overweight tractors with the pitiful range of that old Suzuki still find buyers.
A modern thing that rankles is how poor some riders are at the simple task of changing gear. Given that truly horrible boxes like the R75/5 was lumbered with are long gone, I often hear bikers bashing through the ratios like they're trying to strip all the teeth off the gears.
