These were mine. I bought the RC8R as a garage friend for my RC8. Just fantastic bikes to ride, the difference between the two was very noticeable. The R had the standard KTM exhaust, but was louder than the aftermarket one on the 8.
Decided to move to Spain just after I purchased the R, so sold as I didn't want the headache of registering two bikes that are very rare (in Spain) onto Spanish plates.
Really are superb bikes, more enjoyable and comfortable to ride than most out and out sports bikes I have owned. Did two European tours on the orange one.
New tyres on the Himalayan today, Continental TKC80's (as Pirellu MT60's seem to be unobtainable). Probably better for me, as I am finding lots more unsurfaced roads to play on. Lots of riders swear by them for green laning, but I am positive they are more suited to better riders than me.
€210 fitted, including inner tubes and balanced, so not to bad.

Can't you get MT21 or MT16's?
MT16 I don't think was strictly road legal if you bother about that sort of thing.
Tyres are in short supply here too. I did want to try Mitas, but the dealer couldn't get any, but could get the Continentals. The ITV is due soon, and I know it will pass with these tyres.

I'd forgot you had one of them.
I like the idea of those to try green lanes, but keep thinking 22bhp will too slow on the roads in between them.
24.5 bhp, if you don't mind!
It's not bad if you keep off of motorways, which is easy here as there appear to be small roads criss crossing the country. Couple of hours on the motorway is ok, when there is no alternative, but dull.
