Re: Two wheels good.
Asking for more money after agreeing a price would have me walking away and not returning unless it was one of a kind and I really needed it.

Re: Two wheels good.
If only I had it in one of messages we exchanged... but I don't hence saying "I thought" and I didn't make much thing out of it there and then.
I'm 99% sure but also it could have been something missed in translation...

- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Proper Swedish that. Not my thing but I still see the appeal. (Bit like sports bikes too.)

I'd love to try one, I don't think I'd want one but I need to find out one day.

Re: Two wheels good.
I gave the Strumpet an oil change today & checked the state of the air filter, so one of them is now on order. The fuel pipe clips under the tank are the most awkward ones I've ever experienced, to the point I gave up & left the tank attached to get to the air filter which is why the workmate is so close to the bike.
I'm wondering if the air filter has done the full 30k in the bike from the state of it, it's that filthy it felt damp. I've scraped the worst off & put it back for now. But once the new one is here it'll get swapped.
Oh & yes, I really should visit the tip to get rid of waste oil but I keep putting it off as I worry about staining the boot carpet in the XJR. Ignore the graffiti on the wall too, it's a leftover from the previous owners.

I'm not sure, it's that or they took it off-roading a lot I'd think.

Re: Two wheels good.
No history with it at all tbh. It was due a second air filter 6k ago, if the first one got done of course.
Put another 250 miles on it today, my normal cafe for a fryup then over to Filey and up the coast to Whitby with an ice cream stop in Scarborough on the way. Then over the Moors towards York and home
The gearbox is a lot nicer with fresh oil and just getting the worst of the crud out the airbox has made it more responsive and noticeably quieter.
