told me how her DAS lessons are going. I was surprised they had them out this morning in winds forecast at 45-50mph for slow speed riding, U-turns & the like for the Mod 1. No wonder she struggled a bit, most people with licences don't like wind, especially at low speed.

Reminds me of riding home from work along the A13, A406, M11 and A120 in probably the strongest wind I can ever remember riding in. Riding over the Canning Town flyover was scary. I started to follow another bike, and soon a couple were behind me. All four of us rode in a line up until J7 on the M11. Like me they must have thought "safety in numbers". Still had 30 miles to go which I rode alone and gripping the bars like there was no tomorrow.

Couldn't gel with the Innova. It's everything the cub should have been when they went 12v square headlight. Larger engine,better gearbox and conventional forks and brakes but it wasn't comfy for my crippled fat arse. It's now up for sale so if anyone is interested let me know. Delivery available too.
It's been replaced with a 2005 Honda pantheon 125 LC injection maxi scooter. It's really like riding around in your favourite armchair. Previous chap had it 4 years and passed his car test so put it up for sale. Within ten minutes of it being posted I was on my way to bidulph. Came with a nearly new half face helmet, Bluetooth headset,new jacket and spade trousers. (Both don't fit,he was half my size). He filled the tank up the morning he put it up for sale and included a brand new top box,cover,chain,disc lock and brake lever lock. He just kept bringing stuff out and said I don't need this or this you can take everything so I did.
