Yes. As soon as I pull the pipe off from the carb, it pisses out.
I don't think it did that before.

But is it running ok? I really wouldn't worry about not being able to turn the fuel off unless it leaks from the carb overflow when parked up.

No, it won't start. It just flattens the battery. It did run from the kickstart after about 20 tries but it just revved for a second, died and wouldn't restart.
It's probably something piss easy but I spent four hours on the fucker the other day and I've lost interest. It's a proper fiddly bastard to work on too. My fingers are too thick and hard.

A 24v truck battery in a cut down shopping trolley was the booster pack used in the car auction I drove for. No harm was done to any electrical system.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 3:34 pm Don't think a wee pinch of 12v would do something like that any harm, or are there futuristic electronics on it?

It's a D reg 1986. I think it's a as basic as they come. I think it might have an electrical problem somewhere. I've checked as far as I can. When it does fire up it's as sweet as a nut.

Tuesday ride out ended at Krazy Horse in Bury St. Edmunds for a great burger. The Harley was in good company in the car park. I love the big chronometric speedo on the Vincent.

Passed the Millau viaduct yesterday on my way to Czechia. Still a fantastic looking construction
