55 quid?! Scandalous. I pay 35 for mine but I do slip friendly mechanic a few quid for collecting it and taking it to the garage he used to test for so actually 55 quid isn't for off the total. Last bike I had tested was 22 quid. Think the trike was 25.

Once this house move is sorted I'm tempted to try get back on two wheels. As a full car license holder if I take a cbt I get automatic moped license. 50cc,no l plates and a pillion. What could go wrong? A friend bought a 16 plate lexmoto fmr 50 for 150 a month or so ago and I've told him I'd give him 200 for it in a couple if month's when we settled. He's said he won't be doing much with it if anything at all in that time has he needs to get his 1982 rialto saloon daily driver checked and if anything is found needing repairs before putting it through an mot,get his v plate robin on the road,finish building his buggy and has about 100 bicycles to work through. He's 67 and lives in a council bungalow in a posh part of Derbyshire. His neighbours love* him for keeping house prices low. The scooter is tidy enough and cheap enough for what I want to do which is basically make a twist and go skelly. With my gammy leg I thought a 50 will be best way forward and in time progress bigger like I had before I was taken ill

Cagiva Supercity booked into a local, legendary, bike shop for freeing off the stuck power valve and an MOT.
Looks like it needs a gear input shaft seal also.
Want it ready for the good weather that hopefully won't be long now.
Will probably send the Mito their way as well, think it needs a pretty comprehensive engine rebuild and they are the boys to do it for a decent price and turnaround, I'm not interested in involved projects at the moment, far too busy at work.

Its not a bad idea but a 50cc scooter doesn't have the power to pull your foreskin back, and they leave you riding in the gutter, at least get a 125 ffs.

I love my Honda PXR50.
I do many miles on it in summer. It's nice having time to take in the scenery and not caning it everywhere.

It stood there for few years and wasn't starting even from the kick. All it really needed was new battery to make it going again which is great as I got the this all for free.

It was supposed to be for my daughter as 15 year olds are allowed to ride and drive certain vehicles here on roads.
She's still not done her test so I am using it to get to work when it isn't fucking freezing.

For anyone interested it has a catchy name.
