Total electric failure. Lots of smoke from various parts. Buzzing noise from all fuses and relays. Oh joy.
This is not good!

My British bike experience is limited to my dads 750 commando and various highly modified trials machines, the Norton didn't feel half bad to be honest once I had got my head around the gear change being upside down, it certainly cornered and stopped better than I imagined, however the notion of being oil tight didn't really match the reality.

Well the trike has pissed me off one too many times now so it's getting a complete strip, paint and refresh with rewire. I tightened all battery terminals and connections up then took it for a run. It repaired me by refusing to start off of the starter motor and thrust release bearing is chattering.

They never asked if they could publish that, it was a FB comment and they searched my pics to find that mugshot. The cheeky cunts.
You're not wrong in how you sum it up though.

Had a great day at Oulton on Wed, gratuitous pic below
The Z1000 is pretty good on track considering its a good 60kg's heavier than a sportsbike.
