I look at this and think it needs recomissioning not reconditioning. Providing the floors aren't falling through.
No room or time in the Inn unfortunately.

Where as this may be pretty, I'm pretty sure a thumb push on many of those bits would make big holes. A lovely looking thing.

Slowly coming down in price. Same price as what I let my MGB GT go for.
Not sure I'd have as much fun with it as my BGT though.

That Frogeye looks remarkably original, hasn't fallen far from the tree with that Berkshire reg. either. Nice!

I really want it but need to find some additional storage. Ideally not £77pcm extra on already I'm paying twice for the 2 bays I have. 🫤

Yes, precisely why I am cutting down. There is no way I can find storage as cheap as what I have been paying so reluctantly time to move on....

I complain about £180 a quarter for a bone dry council garage. It's just full of stuff that I never use but can't bear to throw it all away. I can't even remenber the last time I was there.

My council one is £73 a month. It is very dry and being in a crescent of lockups I have the centre one with extra width, I can actually get out of the Cowley either side. Unfortunately they are too short to park the Chrysler in - the 280SE I had used to bend the up-and-over door outwards slightly!

It is full of other shit too - bicycles, furniture, Minor spares etc. It is not exactly a salubrious part of town either although there are some good neighbours there who have called me on occasion when worried about something.

Council aren't renting any more out either - crazy given the demand and number that they have around.

Ignoring the hideousness, the depreciation on these must be huge. A bit like a Bentley CGT, I don't think it will be long before they're on the roughest council estate/pub/etc significantly devaluing the image of them.

I wonder how long it'll be before a major service costs more than it's worth?
