What's with The Junkman posting all this turgid German stahl? I do wonder what the future holds for stuff like a 51 plate S Class or a T reg 528i apart from recycling. £500 should be a government imposed limit on such cars, thus avoiding them becoming 'a lovely old classic' but maintaining their position as 'not a bad old shitter for the price of a half decent mountain bike'.

The Germans used to have weird habit of stating the appropriate used car prices in Pound Sterling on the boot lid in chromed numbers. 500, 600, 528, etc.

I know the owner of the red cloth'd up 528i. I'd be more inclined to buy a bug eyed W210 Benz on the basis that every expert says they're not as good as the W124 and that can only be a good thing. 280E with the V6 is a good tram and fuck the rust. Whaddya want for 500 quid?

Three litre Laguna is deffo considered, but only for the bridge tariff.
Isn't Laguna Latin for soakaway pit?

I had a W210 fifteen years ago and even then it had no metal whatsoever left underneath the back seat.
