And just a few months later.Loving the 'bodged to fuck' comment about a previous welding repair.


The sad thing is, I did a load of work to this in 2014 for a mate who bought it for 300 quid. I put a ZF recon gearbox in, sorted the brakes, removed some awful alarm, replaced the fucked front bumper, rear ABS hub ring and so on to turn it into a useable car. Sadly he sold it and the usual dodgers turned up. It's scrap now.

8k for a full engine rebuild on that V12 seems very cheap, a rebuilt engine on my MGB starts at about 2.5k.
I tend to suspect someone is being economical with the truth as I would expect the parts to cost at least that.
