CAR MIGHT NEED ENGINE REPLACE OR SMALL FIX COULD SOLVE THE PROBLEM (NOT SURE)
Place bets now!

My money's on it needing a new engine gearbox and lots of bodywork, but that's just my pessimistic side.

ETA - these are uglier than a fucking Allegro to start with, and the wrap hasn't improved it.
2005 Land Rover Discovery SE Manual
2003 Mercedes E320 Estate

1967 AMC Rebel SST Convertible (for parts)

Hoping for roffle win :)

It does look shit doesn't it?

The old question, as you're a garage wouldn't it be worth spending a bit of time to see if it is a small fix and then you could get a lot more for it?

I presume wrapping is also a pretty good way to conceal bodywork issues?

They are hideous and the look hasn't mellowed over time.
I saw a couple of those bmw's with those rediculous grilles earlier. How did they get passed?

There's been a few articles in the motoring press by their designers justifying them.

If I remember correctly they know that they are very polarising but reckon something like 50% of people or so like them and that's good enough. In addition they think that they'll grow on some of the other 50%.

To me they are just brutal and gross but maybe that's what a lot of buyers in that segment of the market want. I'm not in the market for a new car but if someone came up with a car in that price bracket that I thought was beautiful I probably would be.

Yeah can't stand 99% of BMWs new or old so I'm not the target market. Thought they were boring pre-Bangle - then just ugly in the Bangle era, now just in a race with Merc to see who can look the stupidest.

Mind you, I think the MX6 and the 406 coupe are two of the prettiest things ever made so what the fuck do I know?

I remember arriving at Frankfurt airport soon after the E65 was announced and there was one on display in the main arrivals hall.
I thought that it looked disjointed then and still do.

I agree with you about the MX6 and Pug coupe, I'd add the Alfetta GTV to them, in fact I'd add a fair few more pre 2000cars as well.
