When a car has had some welding work, but needs recommissioning, I can't help but wonder if there is deeper problem.

A bit of rust history on old MOTs naturally but last was a pass. Also history of blue smoke but could be over zealous tester.

Seller has told me:

The engine starts first time but will need tappets adjusting carb service and turning I had it running for about an hour and there was no smoke problems.

For the money that looks pretty respectable. Not sure about those tyres though they look like commercial tyres so will need binning as it will be shit to drive on truck tyres
