I have been studying American cars at shows and the late 'fifties ones are bloody low built. And I mean low. The roofline is more like a sports car. Whereas I like a higher-built car, because crouching down sucks, and the hoi polloi can look down at you.

Those early to mid Sixties Cadillacs are just bloody stunning. That they also are among the best highway cruisers ever built, especially when updated with gas shocks and radials, is a surefire recipe for them to be at the bottom of the so called collectors market. Still, I'd rather go for that Imperial. Yes, I know. I'm weird, which is oddly regarded a virtue among Imperial aficionados.
