Oh that's nice just needs the Holden V8 and it would almost be a Kingswood if you squinted!

That Viscount was on Faceache for sale two or three weeks ago, I asked my mate to send the guy a message asking for some lower bodywork photographs but never heard anything back so assumed it had sold quickly. Same pictures this time so it appears not.. Always fancied one but I think it'll be out of my budget fairly quickly

It's only about 20 miles from me so I could give you a lift from Cromer Railway Station if you need it.

How is a Viscount different to a PC Cresta? Which is what I thought it was.

Different front grille, vinyl roof, bit of extra fake tree inside. Optional lecky windows and I think leather was standard. When the PC range came out there was a Cresta and a Cresta de Luxe. Bog Crestas (very few sold...) had single 7 inch headlamps, the de Luxe had twin 5 inchers. To give the range a bit more gravitas and compete with Ford's Zodiac Executive the Viscount was concocted - I think it was a year or two after the Cresta came out.

Yeh, it's just some stick-on tat on on a Cresta.. But I just love it, it's even an alright colour and seems un-messed with other than the steering wheel

This doesn't seem a too outrageous price imo for an early 50s luxury car if the description of its condition is reasonably accurate. Low owner count too.

Got a nice arse to it too

Oof. Would.

I do like a Riley (especially of the Rachel variety), although I imagine a 1.5 would be fairly leisurely.
