Yes please, one would be nice.
What I like about these cheeky little cars, and children do love them, is their go-kart like handling, narrow width for squeezing through small gaps, can comfortably rest your arm on the open window sill, peppy little engines and bouncy ride. They are by no means the best small cars, not by a long chalk in fact, but they put a smile on yours and others faces. Get behind the wheel and all the flaws are forgiven.

I disagree with Warren's claims against the dynamo; as long as your regulator is correctly setup and the dynamo and belt in good order you're unlikely to suffer any battery trouble. A large capacity battery is a good idea, and the tray is big enough for one. I have a 73 amp hour on mine. I generally speak from the point of originality though and certainly won't deny alternators are better.
I too would tire of it were it my only car, I think. Despite all the improvements to the specification made over the years the body still remained essentially the same as in 1948, when small cars weren't particularly comfortable.

I'll put some fuel in them and check they don't leak. Then we can work out how to get it down to you.

The one advantage I found that made the alternator worthwhile was daily winter commuting when a dynamo would not be keeping up with blower, lights/wipers etc at idling speeds. I have always kept with the dynamos on my bigger Morrises as I didn't tend to run those to work through the winter.

It certainly does - seems a big car for 1.5 engine, but that's not just any old 1.5 is it?
