Years ago a mate had an Alpine, it was the odd one that came with a removable hardtop, but no hood. (He used to chuck a tarp over it) It met a sad end as he collided heavily into his own stone gatepost, it never got repaired and rotted away in his car park with all his other killed cars, until they all went for scrap after he moved.
Its replacement was an FE Victor estate, I remember that one because the overdrive switch was a nice ceramic and brass light switch on the end of a piece of wire, which meant he had to hunt around on the floor to find it.

Even the Tiger isn't "rapid".

But they are both quicker than the chassis and suspension can cope with which makes them great fun to drive.

Afraid that's all out of the window now. Looked at and bid on loads, prices are stupid. I'm not paying 6 grand to be dangled 30 foot above the ground in something with 25 year old hydraulics. Scaffold tower bought.
Just the slightest design flaw on that forklift with its single driven rear wheel.

I found an old Lister spanner in a hedge on a bike ride yesterday. Had a good prod around in the undergrowth but no sign of anything else in there....

Robert H Crawford and sons should be a port of call when you're feeling flush. As well as that forklift they sell Marshall tractor bits and have been in the business for 100 years at wobworthy premises. Always lots of interesting stuff around
