I didn’t know that!
It looks like they do some pretty cool kits as well. This is a bugeye Suby.

There’s starting to be quite a trend of doing ‘things’ to the new beetle. One of the most common seems to be jacking it up and putting big wheels on it. Some extreme:

And some not quite so:

If you could turn them into a Baja type thing or sandrail I would be right up for one. They're worthless here at the moment.

Go on you know you want to. That's not much over breaker money at the moment. The colour puts me off though just a bit too much like a wedding car

Easy colour to be repainted though.
Interestingly they are identical length to a Hummer H2. A H2 was in the storage place I use, so should fit. Just about fit in the garage if I empty the back wall. So almost can justify it.
While tempting, so is that cheap A30! Also small enough that I can store the shell in the garden while it waits.
Even though I want something else, I'm siding towards replacing my garage doors after it smacked me hard on the head today. Also tempting to get a Scissor Lift as scrabbling around the floor on my back is starting to get old now.

Didn’t Jooles Holland chop the roof on a Rolls Royce in an ancient show about him traveling about the country?
Way before he did the Rover on Jet one.
I remember it because my Dad was saying that he wouldn’t be surprised if Rolls Royce somehow got it back from him.
The inter web seems vacant on the subject (at least with my google-fu), so maybe I dreamed it after I ate that cheese I found under the cooker (Neil).
Edit: Found it. It was a C4 program called The Groovy Fellas.

£342 was pretty cheap for a classic project. Took a lot of will power to not bid this morning.
However buying a third project when two others have a lot left to be done on them...
Likewise the same applies to the white RR.
This sold cheap last week and quite local too. V5 hasn't been updated to a new address, so tempted to message. Pretty much what I'm looking to get, both in condition and budget. Holding off though as it appears to be the season for bargains with a rather unknown market, while I don't exactly need another classic (potential project) yet and there is likely plenty of others coming up.
