Damn it, my plan of buying it from you once you had done a weldathon and mechanical rebuild really isn't going to fly is it......

A Camargue and a Khamsin. Boggling! And two real favourites of mine.

If they were genuine Minilites wouldn't they alone be worth a fair bit of the asking price?

It looks OK to me but then again I bought a VW T2 that ended up costing 5 times the original estimate to restore it. More horrors appeared once it'd been blasted and then the engine decided not to have more than 5psi when hot idling.
I should have killed it with fire.

I might be out on a limb here, but I can't stand minilites.

I think that they're a bit like the old Wolfrace wheels, you used to see them everywhere in the 70s/80s.
I've got a set of imitation ones to fit onto my MGB when it finally gets back on the road but agree it's a matter of taste, I prefer them to Rostyles but I'm sure a lot of people don't.

They're not genuine Minilites. Even if they were, they'd be so old that the magnesium you be starting to crumble and the torqued wheel nuts would continually be loosening. I had a set on a Cooper S and they were shit.
