Yes, headroom is an issue in many Peugeots and it's not exactly generous in the 405.
It's just about sufficient for me in the sunroofed saloon, but still better than in a 504.

Aye, the seats draw quite a few compliments, even from non-car people who rarely notice anything about the crap I drive.

Today this happened, and I nearly missed it.

Better seats don't help you a bit when they are installed in a shit car.

Personally I've always preferred 405 seats but I suppose the Citroen would need better seats due to its inferior suspension.

I'm always afraid falling off to the side of Shitrun seats.

My experience of modern* Citroen seats is limited to a C5 I never got to drive far enough to form any meaningful opinion of, but the older ones in things like the BX and CX didn't suit me at all. They were fine for the first30 minutes or so, then the lack of lumbar support made me fidgety.
The 405 has excellent seats. Mine has a sunroof but I'm not tall enough to be annoyed by it, I'm just happy it works and doesn't leak.

Good to see another 405 on here. I can't say I find the sunroof an issue in mine and I'm about 6'. As for seats and Citroens the only ones I have experience of are ZX Volcane seats and they are definitely on par with any of the 405's I've had, even when doing 600+ miles in a day.

405 seats vary wildly depending on spec. I've got three of the things, and all of them feel totally different. My N plater LX has the best seats, and the poshest spec one I've got, ironically, is the least comfortable.
