This went earlier today. Sad but pleased it's going to get plenty of use.

Money is useful right now to fix this mess...

Yeah I can see that a small, nimble, fast Shitbox French Baguette is not something that would be up your street...

But it would show your porky, wobbly and boaty XJR a clean pair of heels. Keep up on the straight and overtake on the not so straight.

Providing both are working at the same time that is...

I think you've sold the wrong Renault.

Well one that has gone is working and the one which remains is not. So I don't know what you're talking about
🙉

Reality is, in terms of moderns we have the Boxster for GT cruising fun, Clio for back lane blasting and the A4 for long distance mile crunching.

A4 does everything the Laguna did but with better economy, bigger boot, more performance and plusher interior.

Clio is hilarious to blast past modern fat cars on narrow lanes who have forgotten that cars can fit two through. Had a woman in a nearly Audi push through despite just passing a perfectly good passing spot. I just pushed the pedal down a bit harder, leaving the tips of the wing mirrors clipping on the way through. Fitting the image of a typical RenaultSport driver. 😆

Laguna is a long and reasonably wide car so a pain on buzzing around. Just as much hassle to park as the A4, pain to hustle around b-roads and is really quite slow. The MGB would pretty much be able to outrun it. Then it was £320 a year to tax and while only doing 25mpg on the short runs.

Hence why I ended up doing so few miles in it.

I've just taxed my 600 which pains me. I'm ideally after a little FIAT to replace it.
