I was going to do some Jizz updates as I've recently *shocker* had to do some spannering on it. I've put this on the long finger as this site works shit-slow on chromium and the master of the thankless task doesn't know/hasn't bothered fixing it, so I'm having to do this with Firefox.

Yesterday saw me back at work after a two-week absence as I was a fat twat and fell over at work. Missed a step getting down from the Turdberg and with nothing to grab onto did this:

Yup, but there's another breakfast to go before the main action starts.

In this tech-fuelled world, technology has enabled easy coordination of a COLLECTION FRED.

A friend (let's call him MT) took the 1145 from Glasgow Queen St to Edinburgh Waverley. MT is now heading south to Englandshire.

My FJ policy has shifted to MV ("Multi Vehicle") in March. The old classic car scheme was capped at 5 vehicles. In March both the insurance was up for the Pug 306 cabriolet (this was with Adrian Flux for two years because under 20 years old) and so was the UK Footman James insurance for the rest of the UK-based fleet.

The slight problem was the timing. The Pug insurance was expiring about a week before the FJ one. After some phone calls it was simpler to the day insure the Pug to bridge the gap and then add it to the FJ pool on that renewal day. In the end I chose www.insure4aday.co.uk because unlike other day insurers I looked at, they don't grab your email before giving you a quote. It was £61.23 for six days for me. FJ quoted £292 for 6 vehicles although the main change was going back to limited mileage (10,000 miles. I had unlimited for many years) and didn't want to pay £90 more.

So to add a vehicle AND add another named driver (before I always had one named driver, never made any difference) and the additional premium is all car (the 2nd named driver hasn't bumped it up.)

Can't complain at that - c. £330 for 7 cars, SP30 (4pts), 44, low-risk postcode, policyholder + 2 named all clean records and all over 25 years licenced. - I will briefly enjoy my motor insurance golden years.

Yeah, it was surprising cheap all things considered. I did break my usual rule of checking how much it would be prior to purchase.
