Re Tesla: I had a go in Model 3 ( the little one, every fucker has as a company car these days) . It was horrible, very strange high floor driving position, flimsy interior trim and I found the big telly very distracting. No doubt you’d become used to the screen but by then the novelty of the instant acceleration would have worn off, the one I tried was quite a basic one so only BMW 330 type figures not the craziness of the Dual Motor ones. Very much a One -trick Pony and I can’t believe that the EVs from VAG, Merc , BMW etc don’t drive loads better . Thing is as long as Tesla have a monopoly on a decent charger network , it’s the only one you could realistically have as your only car.

I saw that. It's something to do with if the engines aren't fixed by sometime next year if I remember correctly.

I've no idea whether it's to pressurise his employees, is likely, a mixture of the two or something else. I get the impression that his finances are pretty opaque but have never bothered to look to be honest.
