Camper fires - does this make sense?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Why are ya moaning? You moved the levers and the heater got hot.

Crocs are issued to those of sub-normal mental abilities so their carers can spot them easier aren't they?

You could always send a pair of crocs to someone you didn't like, in the hope that the crocs would eat them

Probably.

I suspect that there was a loose wire left after the alarm installation and over time it's dropped down and now has been trapped by the heater levers, maybe after being dislodged by the loose speedo cable. It's like a rat's nest down there so I'll have to put my thinking head on.

In reply to Hooli I've always believed heaters are supposed to generate heat not emit smoke from the dashboard. Is it a Supercharged Jag feature?

I had a Disco that was earthing through the handbrake cable once, lots of smoke out of the centre console. It melted the outer which jammed the cable too. I had to use some shit old jump leads as earths and never use the handbrake, as it was a manual this annoyed my wife somewhat, not enough that I ever fixed it properly though.

And it probably isn't Lucas electrics for once, now they like their smoke.
