That wasn't even trying to be economical.
It did even better on the way home!

Set about the washer bottle today. This was definitely the reason for the weak washers

Could’ve probably just cleaned them both up but the new parts were definitely in much better fettle so stuck them in after trying to flush the bottle out the best I could. Should stop the leak from the headlight washer pump too.

Turns out it’s also leaking (and the main leak) from the NS headlight washer too

I’ll need to bodge that up with some rubber hose and a coupler - I don’t really want to fork out for the replacement genuine parts / hose. Seems to have worked on the other side.

I never noticed it leaked tbf. I did think it hammered the screen wash though.
Anyway if it was perfect he'd have fuck all else to do.

It pisses out until it goes below the level for the headlight washer pump then it stops - causing the level warning to be on constantly.

I'm surprised I never noticed when I was topping it up
You should attatch the front bumper with velcro.

Every job seems to start with
1st remove the front bumper.
I had a P reg A4 1.9 tdi back in the day that I gave to a mate to do the timing belt. I called on him to see how he was getting on. He had the front bumper, head lights, radiators etc scattered across his front lawn.

Hahaha - thankfully I’ll be able to repair the pipe through the fog light grill rather than taking the bumper off again!

I’m hoping the bumper will remain on until the summer where if it passes it’s MOT in June I’ll take it off to replace the AC condenser.

Haven’t updated here for a while.

Fitted a towbar because I’m looking to get rid of my van shortly

300 mile round trip yesterday saw this cunt home. It really is a remarkably good car at doing long distance in a hurry.
