It's the first thing to screw up if you fill it with DoT4. Which obviously, most careful English drivers did. Otherwise, providing the pipes aren't rotten the LHM system is most unlikely to give bother - I've seen decades-old DS and CX dragged out of sheds with door skins hanging off only for them to start on a mug of fresh petrol then rise up off the ground. It is wise to have an old umbrella in such a situation, just in case off green mist.

The paperwork for the DS is back in St Lo after spell in Paris
I'll find out next week if the paperwork is correct and complete.
Then I just need to get the present owner to come up with the transfer code.
Collection could be soon :)
Garage doors are on so she'll have a dry home.

I'd have forgotten I'd bought such a pile of rot by the time it turned up.

How are they involved, as in they turned up to your place with guns blazing expecting a barn full of hooky DS' or as in they need to look at it and confirm its a still a car so you can transfer the registration?

The car's still at the present keepers house
I think the Police just want to physically see the car and check the vin plate.
Not sure, as the present keeper doesn't really know himself. To be honest I'm not sure he knows what day of the week it is...
The rozzers wont be there any time soon, they're slightly busy with covid19 at the moment :(
