240d failed on welding, steering, brakes and lights, list looks quite bad but should be fairly straightforward to fix.
I've been wanting to sell this for ages because of how slow it is but after taking it for a leisurely drive to and from the mot I'm not so sure.
Maybe with the brakes freed off and renewed it might be a bit less slow.
I've found someone local who's breaking one and has a used steering box for sale which was replaced by Mercedes 15k miles ago so probably going to go for that.

A mate of mine has a rough but solid 240D 5 speed manual for sale. Think it's an A plate.

I currently have no desire to buy any more W123's at the moment...

Swapped the steels for some 13" ATS Classic alloys.
I also have another 3 sets of wheels to change including a set of Mexican hat alloys on the white W123

A set of steel wheels with new tyres to go on my ranger and a set of cookie cutter style alloys to go on my Audi 80.
I bought the Mercedes alloys the other night along with a replacement steering box for the 240D and a pair of wings and front valance for the 230E.

I managed to pack it all into the back of my Corolla and still have room for two passengers.

My Audi 80 CD 5S Auto passed its mot yesterday, it had an advisory for corrosion on the subframe and for a blowing exhaust. The exhaust gradually got worse after the test so I stuck it on the ramp to see what was what.
There was a crack next to one of the flanges where the downpipe joins to the middle section, I gave it a quick scrub with the wire brush then welded up all of the holes. It's now almost silent and seems to run a bit smoother/better.
It still needs a bit of work, front shocks need replaced and I'm planning on replacing the timing belt shortly. The car has only done 26k miles but I'm not sure if the belt has ever been done.
It was last on the road in 2005.

I swapped the Felicia pickup for a 1.9 petrol 309 on 50k miles. It goes quite well but needs the carb setup properly. I'm hoping to get some 106 rallye steels or 205 gti pepperpots for it.

I fitted the wings I got to the 230E, I'm planning on a colour change at some point, I'm not entirely sure which colour to go for?
