Its been a bit of a Roller Coaster ride this past few weeks with Shitey and he may no longer be called that in the next couple of weeks

Firstly the Driveshaft

We were lied to time and time again but eventually we got it back!

If your in the Bristol Area never use HJ Chard to do any driveshaft work

They are Rude,Very Expensive and constantly lie and forever shut the business down for days or weeks without warning! I was lucky to even get my driveshaft back :?

My Transmission I do believe was rebuilt properly but I am still experiencing had shift despite the transmission running smooth as silk on the builders test set up :?

He has explained that the only thing that cause hard shift now is vacuum external to the transmission so need to explore this but it is mobile again.

And despite a rebuilt and balanced prop I still have a bloody vibration at 70mph!

Wheel bearing and hubs all be replaced, aligned and balanced and now driveshaft and it just wont go!

Yes engine mounts are new too :?

Anyway the little shit is attending a show 2 weeks today and i was going to paint him but after Chard's shenanigans ive run out of time to do everything and yet again im killing myself trying to do it!

So after having the little sod back for just 1 night he was delivered to the bodyshop to have that dent popped but whilst there the guy who did Sams car agreed to paint it for silly mates rates of the hundreds not thousands variety if we

Supplied the paint

Did the dismantling

Did the Prep

Reassembled

In short the donkey work ;)

So it was written and the little sod now is mostly deviod of paint, trim, even some windows escaped

Everything has been done except the big dent which he is doing early next week then it will be primed, flatted and basecoat and lacquer will follow

So he is currently looking a lot like this!

And he has company of the shit 70's english "Scene Ford" variety

One of my customers bought a prop from HJ Chard for his Kangoo 4x4 they weren't much help when he took it back as it still had a vibration. There aren't many places that do this type of work. There used to be a place in Luton that were good and did driveshafts for an Estafette for me some years ago.
