Hey folks for those not up to date with my latest shenanigans I have a yootoob channel right here
https://www.youtube.com/user/richardthestag/featured?
It is most certainly demonetised
On the project front I finished the White 1972 project and then lost my fucking shirt on it at auction. I am quite irritated by that but at least the business has money in it to move forwards. The chap who bought it got a bargain.
I have 5 more wrecks that I am hoarding right now, unlikely that I will build another one out of my own pocket - but if I did it would be mechanically perfect and rust free then sold as an ongoing project for the next owner to paint as they wish and trim as they wish. I reckon there might be more margin going that way
I persuaded my dad to buy a quite straight Series 3 pez 2.25l 109 Van from a chap at the pub, turns out to be not arf bad, needs brake refurb all round, work to the bulkhead, dash panels, doors and maybe paint. I have video on the channel of that work too.
In other news I am collecting other folks projects to finish, which is good as I am skint ish at the moment. One is a spanish LHD 3 door Range Rover 200 tdi, needs converting to RHD, have the comedy lift removing and tiding up while retaining all the patina - there is a lot of that. The other project is a mate of a mate who has a 92 Vogue SE that he wants to use for casual greenlaning and stuff. not to destroy but to have fun. Bit of a challenge for me as the car is quite tidy but still customer money is money. I cannot afford to have morals These two and the 109 should keep me busy until the end of this year
