It'd be criminal to not reuse those OE shocks now they've been on long enough to bed in.

Glad your safe - had been wondering...
How's the beer holding out ?
Down to my last 200 pints of home-brew here.

Beer situation in West Sussex is awful i'm considering turbo cider if I can get enough Apple juice, or drinking some wine

Just wondering why you didn't clean and paint the chassis rails on the 109 while the engine was out?
Ben

do the chassis then I have to do the engine, then the axles, then the springs and before I know it I end up doing a nut and bolt resto and not a quick flip.
I plan to Vactan and spray some dinitrol over the top. The chassis has been cleaned back ready for it.

The 109 must have just missed out on the 5 main bearing lump. Think they got them from around 1980.
Excellent work as ever Richard.
I've got 4ish series lying around needing the Stag treatment if you're ever at a loose end.
