Faulty petrol injectors?
Anybody know the symptoms of leaky petrol injectors and how to test them on a V6 Duratec? Currently using more petrol than expected (especially as it only does about a mile before switching to LPG) and there is possibly a bit more in the way of exhaust smoke on a cloud start - more grey than white but I could be fooling myself?

What are the short and long term fuel trims telling you on OBD live readings? Take the rail off with it pressurised and see if any are leaking?

TBH I have absolutely no idea I had to take it to a mate to get him to plug his snapon scanner into it. It's a 2001 if it helps.
Can I access stuff like that on the Fordscan app?
Does the pressure stay constant to the injectors all the time even when the engine is off if they are in good order?

They should stay pressurised for a while yeah. Fuel pump bypassed to run constantly shouldn't have the injectors squirting out fuel. Also spray pattern can be off and effecting economy due to poor atomisation of the fuel.
Bog standard generic OBD should give fuel trims on a most engines.

Have admitted defeat and dumped it at the garage this morning, I feel depressed having to pay somebody to sort stuff out that should be well within my capabilities.
