Gone in 60 Seconds (1974)

Post by The Reverend Bluejeans » Sun Sep 22, 2019 3:23 pm

If you haven't already seen this, enjoy: the longest car chase in movie history. A lot of nice stuff gets wrecked though.

1989 730i E32. Yeah
1994 318Ti daily track slag.
2006 Honda Civic VtiVetecYo

666 is no longer alone,
He's getting out the marrow in your back bone,
And the seven trumpets blowing sweet rock and roll,
Gonna blow right down inside your soul.

Much better than the remake in almost every way. The only thing better in the remake is the colour of the Mustang.

Sadly the sound track of the "original" was changed by Halicki's widow.
I have the real original.
Boris's only success so far is being worse than even Theresa May.

Anyone notice the 56 Chevrolet following the poor red Challenger into the shredder?

This must have been a very, very expensive film to make.

Excellent car chase.
I wonder how long it took to plan it?
I can see why people buy V8 Mustangs for the sound alone.
