A thread for silly questiions re car purchase?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

He's probably more worried about his safety and justifiably so. This week is the Feast of the Giant Turnip, where a giant turnip fed the whole population of Norfolk during a famine, so the need for a human sacrifice is pretty high.

Forgot to mention, anything that comes from the evil empire (VaG) is straight in the bin, hate them all!!!!!!! Seems I want a Jag. I want an X type estate but don't want to pay 5 grand+ for one! Wouldn't mind an x350 V8 and seen a nice one for 4.6 thousand but it's done 164000 miles. Prices are FUCKING RIDICULOUS!

I think I want the moon on a stick to be honest. I want new but don't want to pay £600 car tax, I want luxury but don't want to pay the prices asked, perhaps I'd better get a new Sandaro auto and be done with it!

That sure was some Turnip. You can see Cromer pier sagging when them gret ole Norfolk whelks go a-clumpin' down it.

Don’t buy an x-type the interiors are not very hard wearing and given Chester likes to sit on a seat it’ll end up with holes in.

My father had a 3.0 auto a few years ago and absolutely loved it but he got out of it at the right time as the old(er) chap he sold it to had fun with the transfer box and then the engine getting brittle a couple of years later.

The boxes aren’t up to much and the whole sealed for life bollox didn’t help them either. Get a w123/4 estate for the pooches to ruin there are lots in petrol form and you can play lovejoy with your latest birds bedroom furniture.
Just when I thought I was out they dragged me back in.

Thank you for the advice, matches my son's advice re jags and he has one (and works for them!) Do like the E350 I looked at yesterday but 59 reg, 114000 miles but utterly mint inside and out for £8000 seems a fucking lot! But all the toys, proper leather and a 3.5-litre petrol engine with nearly 300 hp so quite desirable, to me at least.

Where's Norfolk, he's the beard on these I think?
