Daytonas in Headingley.
Me in Harehills, where the riots were.
You could argue near is poetic licence but I've walked a fair bit further after a night on the piss.
Harehills was ok, loads of student nurses used to live there.
Was the Headingley mile pub crawl a thing when you were there

I seem to remember that it was but it was a student thing.
We had our own pub crawls that avoided them.
As lovely as this is, I find it hard to believe there are many people in this world prepared to pay £65k for this. Even if right now, will there be in 10 to 20 years time?
I've just asked a couple of mates similar age to me who have a distinct interest in cars and they have no idea what it was. Tbh I only barely new it was a Jensen myself and no idea on the model.
A friend of my Dad's swapped (I use the term loosely there was probably money involved) a 541R for a Mk2 Zephyr in order to tow his caravan. Although both cars were frankly piles of shit I should imagine the Zephyr eventually gave him the better return for reasons you cite in the Escort example.
Plus the Zephyr made an infinitely better oval car.....
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......
