Interestingly the Clio 1*2 doesn't have them and are notorious for puking out their PAS fluid on track days from fluid overheating.
That’s what this is, a single steel pipe which runs across the front of the radiator then loops back again, before joining a couple of pieces of rubber hose back to the reservoir and the rest of the system.
If the pipes on this one look good they should be cleaned and painted/rustproofed soonish.

I can't rate them highly enough. I got rid of mine because of a change in job.

Cloth seats, electric front windows and central locking was all it had. No ac or sunroof. I've always said I'd like to try an auto but they are damn rare now. I'd guess with yours being an auto too its a 2.0? Only ever seen autos on 2.0 or 2.3 models. Either way well bought sir.
It’s a 618 so must be one of a few it has a few mod cons but no sun roof and the full leather seats

Well I learnt something new! Didn't know 1.8 was available with auto. Being leather I'd guess it's an iL model run out as someone mentioned above.

You need to get some rubber lube and do all the window channels.
