Are You Sitting Comfortably? Ergonomics Wob.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I can't fit in an earlier Avensis - not enough headroom. Went to look at one at dealers once and he didn't believe me until I sat in the fucker. It was really odd too because I could easy fit in an Aygo.

Same thing with Renaults the daft cunts - cannot fit in a Gooner 2/3 but Clio no problem.

Peugeot 405/6 - no chance, 205, fine.

I am 6'4" and fairly even split leg/torso. The X350 jags weren't bad, ex-wife's SLK (2003) was about an inch too small all round but not as bad as an Avensis or Gooner.

I was fine in a Ford Puma but I think Mcoli of this parish and the other place was a bit surprised when he won it in the roffle and found it somewhat ergonomically unsound if I remember correctly.

Best seats were Saab 9000 and an ALDI A3 - the ALDI made up for the great seats by filling-loosening "suspension" - it felt as if some cunts in Germany fitted solid blocks in place of springs.

I'm 40lb lighter than I was a few years ago and no longer care about "lumbar support" because my boney arse hurts on the "firm and sporty" seats.
I now want squishy and cosseting...

The wife’s Q5 has excellent seats - not that I would ever admit it to her. Like overstuffed leather armchairs.

The WRX had brilliant sporty seats. To the point that in our recent Spanish tour, where we were ‘upgraded’ to a BMW X1, my son said out of the blue ‘those BMW designers should try WRX seats. This cars are horrible.’

The Jeep seems to give you a numb butt cheek after 30mins.

The ka+ has a driver seat that I can't work out how to adjust despite having the handbook, so I have a cushion for my lower back. Better than nothing.
As I suspected I was right about everything.
