It seems that he wants me to go through his insurance. I even offered him the chance to pay me weekly as well. Never mind. This will clearly write off my poor little Fiesta.

I just fail to comprehend why he's happy to fuck up his NCB over £240?

Like many people though he will just be paying monthly and "won't notice" the extra 11 or 12 quid a month.

same rider who charged two individuals £180 for a three-minute ride back in February 2022.
Still skint and want to get fitter Warren? Sounds like the fines are a drop in the ocean?

I remember those from 25+ years ago on a weekend trip to Dublin. Totally pissed up through the day on a pedi cab with mates' I vaguely remember mooning at a couple of ladies at some traffic lights.
I am not proud.

Re: Got Pissed. Bought A Car I Don't Need.
Update time.
I took the wounded Fiesta in for a damage assessment at the garage that I bought my Ioniq from as I trust them. Apparently, there are 14 hours labour needed to fix the door! Needless to say, I just want it written off and be able to keep the salvage. I'll expect a cheque for £500 sometime around Xmas.
While I was there the boss came over for a chat and along with having a mutual whinge about our local taxi licencing regulations he informed me that, as predicted, my old Ioniq is now living as a taxi in Leeds. Leeds council clearly only ask for an existing MOT because it hasn't been tested since I owned it. I did say that only spending £22 in repairs in nearly 170,000 miles was good going and he replied that the Gen 2 Ioniqs aren't proving to be as reliable. The main problem is that Hyundai have fitted them with electric parking brakes which are prone to failure, he has six new rear calipers on back order with stupid lead times.

So what's the latest on the licence front Warren? Still stuck in a black hole rotating around Swansea?

Yes! As I rent my house off a friend I bunged him a couple of grand from the sale of the Ioniq as advance rent as I had a sneaky feeling something like this was going to happen. He thought I was crazy and tried to refsuse the money...LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 4:45 pm So what's the latest on the licence front Warren?
