Re: Supercharging the climate with a XJR V8 - Rusty Undercrackers...
I've just worked out this year's repairs have cost over £1 a mile, as since the MOT last Dec this has done just under 1,500 miles...
No Eddie, I've no intention of adding up what it's cost so far since I've owned it. I've got a rough idea in my head & it's much higher than I'd want to confirm.

You should expunge that rough idea from your head.

Harking back to one of my Lotii (Lotus's?) and that cost, not including fuel, tax or insurance, £2 per mile and that was back in the fucking 80's!

Look at it as your hobby like keeping chickens or something. Except loads more expensive.
A mate's brother used to race pigeons. He would pay two or three grand a bird at times. A neighbours cat caught one and chased half a dozen away and they didn't come back.
I never knew there was such a thing as a cat trap till then. I lent it as my neighbours cat kept shitting and pissing in my leek trench poisoning them. Never did catch the cunt though.

I definitely never wired our bin up to an old ignition coil with a flasher unit to break the circuit in order to stop the cats pulling the fucker over and going through it. If I had done such a thing we would’ve heard a massive shriek and seen a cat darting past the window just as we sat down to eat our dinner, so it’s a good job I didn’t do it.

V6? Really?
I thought they were straight 6 or V12?
