We've tried that litany on him for years now. I give up.

£3500?

Try £4500. And I meant that the bottoms of the door cards were hanging off, the tops were fine (I think). They were barely attached to the doors as someone had been fucking about in there.

He claimed he'd tried to sell a mk1 Granada Ghia coupe at Anglia Car Auctions with a £13-15000 guide, ACA responded saying he's overvalued it and he should set the guide to £11-13k instead, he agreed, then got annoyed at them selling it for £10k. That's all it's worth though...

A Scimitar is really not my thing.

What else is there, then? Aside that Dolomite, which I like the idea of.

What about this?

Buy this (or similar):
https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 3816611079

Some tools and fit a bench in there. Have it sign written as "Max's Mighty Bike Repair" or similar.

Then get out there!

It amuses me how many used van dealers describe their offerings as 'a real workhorse'. They're diabolically fucking shit.

£3500?

That buys a LOT of Jaguar XJ40 or X300. A mate of mine has two for sale for 1500 quid a pop.

Divide your budget by two and suddenly a wanked out old Granada with a rotten roof looks a bit salty.
